Italian Flood Atlas / Emilia-Romagna

Floods, seen
by radar.

Past floods in Italy, mapped from Sentinel-1 satellite radar by a model trained and scored on a public benchmark. Each map shows its radar dates beside the official Copernicus emergency mapping, so you can see what the radar recorded and what it could not.

A qualitative demonstration, not an accuracy claim.

The model’s accuracy is measured only on a public benchmark’s held-out test events. No independent labels exist for the Italian events, so any comparison with the emergency maps describes how two maps overlap; it is not accuracy. Not for emergency response or decisions about real places.
